SharePoint 2016 - The future's so bright, I gotta wear
shades
|
SSW is live with SharePoint 2016 and to me, this is the
most exciting release ever! Jeff Teper, the boss of
SharePoint, is back and you can definitely feel it in the
latest feature announcements. I see cohesion in the
announced features, a vision of connecting people with
their data both organizational and personal, on all
devices, in the cloud, on-premises and all done with
the elegance of a modern web UI.
|
Let's go through the cool stuff. Some of it has already
been released and some of it has only just been announced,
but all of it is awesome.

SharePoint is back!

VIDEO: Performance Tuning from the Trenches –
Eric Phan
|
Performance is often the last thing that
developers think about when working on their
projects. Often times it is after the website
has crashed and burned before performance gets
brought to the top of the backlog. In this
session Eric will share war stories from
helping clients performance tune their
applications and guide you through the process
of identifying the bottlenecks and finding a
solution to the bottlenecks whether it be:
code changes, hardware changes, or setting up
a process to continually measure performance.
